Helping the Environment through Sustainable Forestry
Here at VIVA®, we care about making a difference and protecting the environment.
We strongly promote the sustainable management of forests. That’s why our Paper Towels are Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®) certified – considered the gold standard in forestry certification by many environmental organisations.
Because of our commitment to sustainable forest management, VIVA Paper Towels is a founding partner of WWF Australia’s ‘Love Your Forests’ program. So, when you purchase our products, you can be
certain that you’re doing your bit to help protect the environment.
VIVA Paper Towel and the Forest Stewardship Council
The goal of FSC® is to promote environmentally responsible, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world’s forests.
FSC® certification means that we’ve been independently, third-party audited against a rigorous set of principles and criteria. This ensures that every VIVA Paper Towel is sourced from responsibly managed forests and plantations which protect endangered wildlife habitats and other environmental values. You can rest assured that you’re not contributing to the destruction of precious forests and habitats. Make a sustainable difference today by using FSC® certified tissue and towel for your home.
Kimberly-Clark is a founding partner of WWF’s ‘Love Your Forests’ program. This initiative aims to raise awareness of the importance of sourcing tissue, paper and timber products from responsibly managed forests, and to inform consumers about FSC® as the mark of responsible forestry.
WWF-Australia hopes to spread two messages. Firstly, that we can all love our forests by making more informed choices, including choosing products that are FSC® certified . Secondly, that making these informed choices can make a difference in the marketplace – the more consumers demand sustainably sourced paper and timber products, the more businesses will have an incentive to supply them.
